An impromptu lunch date for Nancy and Esteban ends in a hail of gunfire; Celia seems to have developed a dependency on Xanax; Silas tells Lisa what he grows, and Lisa offers him use of her shop as a cover; acting on advice from Cesar, Shane carries out a preemptive strike at his new school; Doug and Andy’s Coyote business attracts some unwanted attention; as their dream date continues, Nancy learns more about Esteban’s appetites and desires.

Nancy, needing more cash, wants to get back into the selling game; Andy and Doug are determined to become “kinder and gentler” Coyotes; Lisa gives in to her attraction to Silas; Shane and Isabel stumble across some racy pictures that Judah took of Nancy when they were dating; Celia goes south of the border to buy her prescription drugs; Nancy gets very special treatment from Esteban after surprising him with a visit.

Nancy examines the strange hole in her new store’s backroom. At first she is afraid, but soon curiosity gets the best of her. After making sure to close the storeroom door she descends down the staircase into the rabbit hole. She finds a tunnel going from her store, under the border, and into the Tijuana garage Guillermo had sent her to. In the bathroom of the garage she finds a laundry cart full of pot-bricks, and a whole lot of Maternity-World bags full of the same. She cautiously peers through the door and sees several well dressed hispanic men (the same ones as at the end of episode 5) standing around in the garage celebrating.

Nancy covers for Celia to keep Guillermo from killing her for spying on him. Andy continues his trek north with the illegal immigrants and learns the harsh realities of the coyote business. Nancy returns to pick up Andy and finds him missing. Meanwhile the immigrants tell Andy about their coyote’s cruelty ( he keeps raising the price, he left an old lady to die because she was too slow, he charged them for water, he broke another passenger’s arm.) attacks him and he shoots him in the knee. Guillermo gives Nancy a new job as manager of Maternity World. The coyote attacks Andy’s friend and a struggle ensues, one of them gets shot. Finally, Nancy confronts Captain Till and tells him to back off, and that she’s done with drug dealing. Later, back at Maternity World, Nancy discovers a door to an underground tunnel.
